Patchwork Dreamer is starting to have sleepless nights, the "on button" is so close to being pressed on the web site! I have been very busy putting things like this on the site.  Anyone who follows our Face Book page will know I got a bit over excited about this fabric range, it is stunning,  Batiks by Michael Miller. Then there has been the very boring but necessary Meta stuff (lots of mindless typing with no colour in sight) So I broke it up by adding these! Lots of stock has arrived since my last blog includding a few pieces of pre-cuts from Michael Miller I love this batik roll-up.  Actually I love all the fabrics, just hope others do to, enough to buy....... Now who is thinking about Christmas?  How about a little Christmas wall hanging?  Take a look Well that's it for me today, let me know what you think and watch this space for the launch.

Good morning blog world have been missing in action for a while due to lots of inputting on the fast growing web site.  So since last we met I have put on 39 Kona solids Photographed and put on the cottons, really pleased with this section as you can see the colours well even better if you magnify it. Pins and needles are on So things are progressing nicely.  Got a delievery of batting which I need to put on and this lovely collection Ashbury Heights by Riley Blake. Lots more to come including pre cuts from Robert Kaufman (Hexies, Roll ups and charm squares) batiks and lots more between now and January next year. Have organised the advertising so will defo be launched for September the 20th as that when the mag comes out!   The lovely people at Quintdown web have been hard at work making a fabby (well I think so) web site.  Here are some of the touches which make it special.  For those who don't know what a fat 1/4 is this little piccy sh...

Phew well I think thats all the prints on the web site for now.  Has taken some time and I am going to have to redo some of the pictures as I am not completely happy with them.  So the last collection I put on this evening was So Happy Together by Dreena Rutter it is sooo pretty  And so next are the Kona solids, I've got quite a few so this could take a while! I have even signed up to twitter!  Not really sure what to do on it so I am a bit of a twit on Twitter!!!!  Pinterest is lots of fun though, take a look as I have put up lots of pictures of fabrics current and in the furture.

Wow how do people imput information onto computers all day, its so tiring!  But lots more lovely fabrics are on  the web site now.  This lovely range is called Textures and is by Angela Walters for Art Gallery fabrics. And Bijoux by Bari J for Blend. And sew to take a little break from the computer I decided to make an infinity cowl got all the instructions ftom luvinthemomyhood.com and spent a pleasent hour sewing this morning. And I am quite pleased with the result.  This momy is not nearly as glam as the momyhood momys but to be fare I did have the back of the camera next to a mirror so that I could see the picture I was taking! If you decide to follow my lead I suggest you make sure all your fat 1/4's are the same size by putting them on top of each other and cutting them because fat 1/4's do vary.  I used Kona solids inside mine to keep the cost down.  You will need 6 fat 1/4's to make this, download the instructions and an hour later you...

Welcome back to a work in progress (WIP) to us patchworkers.  I think with some more help from Alison at Quintdown web I have sorted out how to get all this lovely fabric onto the web site!  I have managet to get Hooty Hoot returns and Carnaby Street on this evening!  The pictures were taken during the day to try and get as true a color as I can and the techy stuff done this evening, I've got the prices on an everything :) If you take a sneeky look at the web site (Patchworkdreamer.co.uk) you will see I have lined up a couple more collections to do tomorrow evening.  I'm cooking on gas now!  Have been thinking about making a quick quilt out of all the Kona solids I have just to show them off at groups and markets/fairs.  Currently have 39 colors, was thinking a disappearing nine patch using the black in the four outside blocks which get sliced through to act as a kind of boarder/sashing to the other colors.  Humm what do you think?  What wo...

Welcome to the first blog on Patchwork Dreamers blogg spot.  I am starting a new and exciting venture by setting up an on line Patchwork and quilting web shop.  I have given up childminding to give my full attention to this adventure.  My computer skills are limited (very!) and so the lovely people at quintdownweb are building the shop for me.  Yesterday Alison from quintdown web came to try and teach me the back office work of the site, bless her I am not a natural.  So bare with the web page it could look a bit funny as I home my skills.  Now for the intresting bits what am I going to stock well I have at the moment 38 Kona solids accross the color spectrum, Riley Blake with Hooty hoot returns, So Happy, and Geekly Chic.  Art gallery fabrics Bijoux, Textures, Colour me Retro and Carnaby Street.
